Going to Narasimhar temple (Pilgrimage) in my dream

Yesterday I woke up with a wonderful dream experience of visiting a Narasimhar temple that was on a mountain. I kept chanting “Vrittothpulla Vishalaksham” (Mantraraja Pada Stotram) and climbing up this difficult mountain to see a silver Narasimhar. It felt exhilarating to experience a 3D pilgrimage in my dreams. Upon waking up, I was confused, and I called my parents to ask about the meaning of this experience. Kerala Trip : An 8 day trip to God’s Own Country

This year we chose to escape to Kerala as the scalding hot Chennai became impossible to bear during summer. We planned to go to the beautiful Alappuzha district, which happens to be my husband’s ancestral place. The backwaters of Alappuzha are renowned for their breathtaking beauty. The natural beauty of Kerala can inspire poets to pen verses singing its praise. Day 1 : Alappuzha – Sterling lake palace resort We took the evening flight to Kochi, Kerala and reached Sterling Lake Palace Resort, a couple of hours away from Kochi Airport. It was around 11:30 PM when we reached the resort. We were escorted in a buggy to the reception.…

Darling Darjeeling – A Treasure Hunt

Day 1 – Ghoom Monastery / Batasia Loop / Rock Garden After our exciting trip from Sikkim, we drove back to Darjeeling at around 10 PM. The weather in Darjeeling is similar to Gangtok. Rains come here unannounced and disappear without a trace. I found the weather to be mildly cold, which was a pleasant difference from the scorching hot place that we are from. We wanted to leisurely enjoy the first day in Darjeeling after our somewhat crazy travel during the previous day. Our intention to hit Darjeeling is to unwind and enjoy the comforts of the cold weather in a pleasant and naturally scenic place.  Darjeeling doesn’t disappoint…

    From the Himalayas

The Himalayan Memoir I am very happy to write my first post from the Himalayas. What a great place this is! It has been my dream to visit the Himalayas from a young age. As I kept learning more about the spiritual aspects of this beautiful spot on Earth, I became more and more fascinated by this place. We took this journey to visit Himalayas as a family to experience how life is in the Himalayas and to immerse ourselves in the culture and religious traditions of this region. To say I am awestruck by its beauty is an understatement. I feel blessed to be near such pristine natural beauty,…
